Wil has been involved in editing and writing most of her working life. During her studies she edited and contributed
to paper of the English Department of the University of Amsterdam. Her essay about the poetry of
Tony Harrison for
Post-War Literatures was acclaimed by the poet himself. For Historische Kring Diemen, the Hisotrical society
of her home town Diemen, she regularly contributes researched essays in Dutch, see below. Since she started on her international
careers she has published regularly on her blogs in English
